Meet the Team
The man who started it all, company founder Tony Taylor has been hooked on motorsport for over 50 years!
Bitten by the race-bug at an early age, Tony spent much of his early career developing and testing pioneering turbochargers for some legendary names in motorsport, including leading F1 teams (he even met with Enzo Ferrari!).
After founding AET in 1974 (after managing a service crew on the World Cup Rally), Tony realised that he could turn his passion for motorsport into a successful business. From supporting global motorsport names and major manufacturers, to developing innovative race vehicles and founding and running a successful team, racing has always been an integral part of Tony’s vision for AET.
Although now officially “retired”, after handing the reigns over to son Andy, Tony still likes to be involved on the motorsports side whenever he can and is always there to provide expert support and guidance to the rest of the team.
